We believe brain preservation should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. While we need to charge for our services to provide the highest-quality preservation and maintain our operations into the indefinite future, we do our best to use available philanthropic funds to offer financial assistance to those who cannot afford the full cost.
Financial aid can reduce or eliminate the cost of preservation. However, depending on the level of assistance, we may not be able to provide certain services, such as standby and transport.
If you have no significant assets and can travel to our Salem, Oregon headquarters before legal death or be transported there afterward, we currently have philanthropic funds available to cover the full cost of your preservation.
Eligibility is based primarily on assets, with income as a secondary consideration. We focus on assets because most people seeking preservation are retired, when income may not be indicative of their financial circumstances. We evaluate each situation individually, considering:
